With the cold air coming, the temperature is also gradually dropping. In the cold winter, people need to wear clothes to protect, and your laser equipment needs to be carefully protected to keep normal operation. Today, I would like to share with you the anti freezing measures of CO2 laser cutting machine in winter.
Why does laser equipment need anti freezing in winter?
Under the influence of low temperature environment in winter, the operation or storage of laser equipment at a temperature lower than 0 ℃ will cause the laser and water cooling pipeline to freeze, and the volume will become larger after water solidification, which will lead to the rupture or deformation of the internal pipeline of the laser and water cooling system.
If the cold water pipe is broken and started up for operation, the coolant may overflow, causing damage to related core components. In order to avoid unnecessary losses, be sure to take proper antifreeze measures.
The CO2 laser tube is water-cooled. We'd better control the temperature at 25-30 ℃, because the energy is the strongest at this temperature.
When the laser tube works in winter
1. Please add a certain proportion of antifreeze to prevent circulating cooling water from freezing. As the antifreeze is corrosive, it shall be added to the chiller for use after being diluted according to the requirements of antifreeze and the dilution ratio of antifreeze. Customers who have not used antifreeze can ask the dealer, and the dilution ratio depends on the actual situation.
2. Do not add excessive antifreeze in the laser tube, as the cooling layer of the tube will affect the light quality. For the laser tube, the greater the frequency of use, the more frequent the water change. Otherwise, impurities such as calcium and magnesium in the purified water will attach to the inner wall of the laser tube and affect the energy of the laser. Therefore, the water needs to be changed frequently both in summer and winter.
After the laser tube work in winter
1. Please drain the cooling water. If the water in the tube is not completely drained, the cooling layer of the laser tube will freeze and expand, which will crack the laser cooling layer, causing the laser tube to fail to work normally. Frost cracking of the cooling layer of the laser tube in winter is not within the scope of replacement. In order to avoid unnecessary loss, please do it in the correct way.
2. Air pump or air compressor and other auxiliary equipment can be used to drain the water in the laser tube. Customers who use the chiller or water pump can remove the chiller or water pump and place it in a room with high temperature to prevent the water circulation equipment from freezing, which will cause damage to the chiller, water pump and other parts and bring you unnecessary trouble.
1. Generally speaking, for a cold water refrigerator that has been working all the time, the water body will not freeze when flowing.
2. In cold winter, many customers will ignore that the cooling water needs to be replaced every day to avoid exceeding the specified temperature. It is difficult to feel the spindle motor heating due to low external temperature.
3. Add the antifreeze into the water tank of the chiller matched with the laser equipment to prevent the cooling water from freezing, so that the chiller can start and operate normally in cold winter.
Conditions and Methods for Adding Antifreeze to Cooling Water
1. Name: antifreeze ethylene glycol (also known as glycol), which can be purchased in local hardware and chemical stores and also available online, but the liquid transportation is limited.
2. The ratio between deionized water and deionized water should be at least 30% and preferably 50% (70% water and 30% ethylene glycol).
3. When the ambient temperature is below zero (inclusive), it must be added.
4. Ethylene glycol is not equal to ethanol (alcohol), please be sure to distinguish
In addition, the laser and water machine systems shall be stored and used in strict accordance with the storage temperature and working temperature, and the ambient temperature shall not be lower than 5 ℃
