The laser cutting machine has strong material application ability and industrial practicability. It is an indispensable equipment for die cutting and precision cutting. The laser cutting machine is applicable to a wide range, but we know that the laser cutting machines applicable to different materials are different. Now we can roughly divide into two processing methods, namely, metal laser cutting machine and non-metal laser cutting machine.
Metal laser cutting machine: the main processes are cutting, drilling and engraving. It mainly cuts metal plates such as stainless steel, iron, aluminum, copper and some alloy plates. Among these materials, the stainless steel plate is the easiest to cut, but it also needs to be relatively thin stainless steel. The laser can not cut too thick stainless steel materials, and the maximum thickness can be cut to about 4mm. The cutting seam can be narrowed to about 0.1mm, but the material requirements are not high, the cut is smooth and the perpendicularity is good. For carbon steel materials, it can be cut to about 20mm. The laser has little thermal impact on carbon steel, so the cutting effect is very good. For high carbon steel, the edge quality of laser cutting is better than that of low carbon steel, but its heat affected area is large. For some alloy materials, most of them can be cut, and only a small part of them appear melting corrosion and slag sticking. Copper plate is difficult to cut by laser, even if it is cut, it is very thin.
Metal laser cutting
Non metal laser cutting machine: mainly used for fabric, leather, acrylic, wood, paper, rubber, silica gel, EVA, foam, sponge, glass and other materials. Compared with metal laser cutting machine, non-metal laser cutting and cutting materials are more extensive and more powerful. It can cut or carve large or small products without being limited by the size of materials. The pattern can also be changed at will. The design is very humanized and the price is relatively low.
