In recent years, "precision shipbuilding" and "rapid shipbuilding" have become the main trends in the development of shipbuilding industry. Laser cutting technology has been rapidly developed, accounting for more than 70% of the whole laser processing industry. The shipbuilding industry mainly uses steel plate raw materials. Laser cutting of plates can replace some punching and cutting methods that require complex large-scale molds, greatly shortening the production cycle and reducing the cost. At present, flame cutting, plasma cutting, shear processing and laser cutting are the main cutting methods of hull plate parts in the shipbuilding industry. Other cutting methods have many disadvantages compared with laser cutting, such as wide cutting gap and poor cutting accuracy of flame cutting and plasma cutting, which are easy to produce harmful gases and cause large environmental pollution. As for ship plate cutting, laser cutting has the advantages of high cutting accuracy, small thermal deformation, reduction of secondary processing (such as milling, drilling, etc.), transfer and grinding, especially small circle, small hole and curved surface processing. It meets the requirements of the accuracy of hull section transfer and can fully ensure that the assembly gap of the frame is controlled within 1mm. However, its practical cutting speed in steel is lower than that of plasma cutting.
The ship cutting requires high accuracy for the transfer of hull sections, and the transfer clearance of the frame must be controlled within 1mm. In the past, when the ship manufacturing enterprises generally used plasma to cut the rib plates, in order to ensure the assembly gap, the trimming allowance was set on the rib plates. This requires manual trimming during on-site assembly. The trimming quality is uneven, and the oxide remains in the slit. At the same time, the assembly work is increased, and the assembly cycle is increased, resulting in the extension of the whole subsection construction cycle. In addition, after the assembly allowance is eliminated by using the laser cutting machine, the phenomenon of on-site repair and cutting is eliminated, the waste of labor and materials is reduced, the assembly speed of the frame is significantly accelerated, and the assembly quality is significantly improved.
In the field of shipbuilding, the laser cutting machine avoids the uneven trimming quality caused by setting trimming allowance on the rib plate and manual trimming in order to ensure the assembly clearance when plasma is used to cut the rib plate. Thereby reducing the workload of assembly, assembly cycle, and waste of materials and labor costs. The marine steel plate cut by laser has good cutting quality, good perpendicularity of the cutting surface, no slag, thin oxide layer, smooth surface, no secondary processing, direct welding, small thermal deformation, high curve cutting accuracy, reduced working hours, and realized barrier free cutting of high-strength ship plate. Deviation of clearance of internal structural materials of the ship.
