The laser power will affect the cutting speed of laser equipment, and the cutting speed of laser equipment will affect the cutting quality of plates. Under the condition of a certain laser power, there is an optimal cutting speed range. Too fast or too slow speed will affect the surface flatness of cutting materials.

Too slow cutting effect
Cutting speed is too fast
1. The contact time between the laser beam and the material is short, which may cause failure to cut and sparks splashing.
2. Some areas can be cut off, but some areas cannot be cut off.
3. Cause delamination of the whole cutting section.
4. As a result, the plate cannot be cut in time, the cutting section presents diagonal lines, and the lower half produces molten stains, as shown in the following figure.

Cutting speed is too slow
1. The interaction time between material and laser increases, resulting in the over melting of the cutting plate, and the cutting section is rough.
2. The cutting seam will be widened accordingly, causing overburning in small rounded corners or sharp corners, and the ideal cutting effect will not be achieved.
3. The cutting efficiency is low, which affects the production capacity.
Cutting speed judgment method
1. The cutting speed is reasonable: the cutting spark spreads from top to bottom, the cutting surface is stable, and there is no slag at the lower part;
2. The cutting speed is too fast: the cutting spark is inclined;
3. Cutting speed is too slow: cutting sparks appear non-proliferation and less, and agglomerate together.
The diffusion speed of sparks from top to bottom is reasonable. The tilting speed of sparks is too fast, and the non-proliferation speed of sparks is too slow
