2. Air extraction is essential. The extraction operation can discharge smoke, gas and particles. In addition to ensuring the cleanliness of parts, the cleanliness of the exhaust system is also important to avoid the formation of deposits on the whole machine (such as on the belt). This deposit forms a flammable layer. High end machines are generally equipped with air extraction devices with filters. The low-cost model has only one low-power fan. In this case, it may be worth adding a better air extraction device. Therefore, it is recommended to pump air once a week.
3. As for the transmission device, i.e. x-axis and y-axis, it must also be kept clean. It is also recommended to clean once a week. Use a soft cloth or cotton swab dipped in alcohol or similar neutral solvent to clean the x-axis beam. In addition, try to clean the inside of the x-axis beam, which is where the guide rail runs.

What is the best working environment for laser cutting machine? Because the cutting machine is very sensitive to temperature changes, you must protect it from the effects of high temperature in summer and low temperature in winter.
Therefore, the ideal environment is:

·Keep away from high temperature. If you use water cooling equipment, try to keep it away from the machine;
·Dust prevention;
·Make sure you place the machine horizontally.

You may know that some materials are not suitable for laser cutting machines, such as PVC, carbon or artificial leather. The cutting machine is not unable to cut them, but will be affected by the toxic smoke they emit, causing damage.
In addition, some materials will produce a lot of dust and smoke, which will affect the service life of the machine. Such as minerals and glass.
