There is no unified standard for the quality evaluation of laser cutting in the world. Up to now, there is no relevant standard for laser cutting quality in China. The main basis for detecting laser cutting quality is JIS and Wes (welding specification). In cen (European Organization for Standardization) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization), there are standardization issues related to laser cutting. The ISO9000 series quality assurance methods mainly provided by EU have studied the laser cutting standards and the provisions of standard samples, including: the classification of cutting quality grades, the standards for setting samples and processing samples, optical systems, models of price samples and beam characteristics.
Laser cutting machine
For laser cutting processing, the evaluation of its processing quality mainly includes the following principles:
1. The cutting is smooth, without stripes and brittle fracture;
2. The slit width is narrow, which is mainly related to the diameter of the laser beam spot;
3. Good perpendicularity of cutting joint and small heat affected zone;
4. No material combustion, no melting layer formation, no large slag;
5. Notch surface roughness. The size of surface roughness is the key to measure the surface quality of laser cutting.
