3. Carving speed: carving speed refers to the moving speed of the laser head, usually expressed in IPS (inch / second). High speed brings high consumption efficiency. Speed is also used to control the depth of cutting. For a specific laser intensity, the slower the speed, the greater the depth of cutting or carving. 4. Carving intensity: carving intensity refers to the intensity of the laser that strikes the surface of the data. 5. Spot size: the spot size of the laser beam can be adjusted by using lenses with different focal lengths. The lens with small light spot is used for high-resolution carving. The lens with large light spot is used for carving with low resolution, but it is the best choice for vector cutting. The standard configuration of the new device is a 2.0-inch lens. Its spot size is at both ends, which is suitable for various places.
Laser carving machines generally use CO2 lasers, and the power of laser tubes used today belongs to the small and medium power range. The maximum is 300W. Originally, metals absorb less of this medium wavelength laser. Therefore, laser engraving machines generally do not need to carve metal.
