The cutting accuracy is an important part to measure the quality of the laser cutting machine. However, the laser cutting accuracy does not completely depend on the equipment itself, but consists of many factors, mainly including the following factors:
1. The size of the spot after the laser beam passes through the focus.
The smaller the laser spot, the higher the cutting precision, especially the smaller the slit. The smallest spot can reach 0.01mm.
2. The positioning accuracy of the worktable determines the repetition accuracy of cutting.
The higher the precision of the workbench, the higher the cutting precision.
3. The greater the workpiece thickness, the lower the precision, and the larger the cutting seam.
Because the laser beam is conical, the cutting seam is also conical. The stainless steel with a thickness of 0.3mm is much smaller than the cutting seam with a thickness of 2mm.
4. Workpiece material has certain influence on laser cutting precision.
In the same case, the cutting accuracy of stainless steel is higher than that of aluminum, and the cutting surface is smoother.
The error of machining dimension is a common fault when using laser cutting machine for machining. This fault not only affects the production efficiency, but also increases the production cost. The main causes of machining dimension error are as follows:
1. the signal line is abnormal. At this time, the signal line needs to be replaced.
2. the equipment and computer are poorly grounded. At this time, the equipment and computer shall be well grounded.
3. the computer is not working properly. The computer needs to be repaired or replaced.
4. the computer operating system is faulty or infected with a virus. The operating system needs to be reinstalled or virus detection and killing.
5. the application software is abnormal. At this time, the software and the driver software of the motion control card need to be reinstalled.
6. the power supply is unstable or interferes with the signal. At this time, it is necessary to install a voltage stabilizer or eliminate interference signals.
7. the processing program is not written correctly. It is necessary to check and repair the machining program.
8. the processing parameters are set incorrectly. To reset the correct machining parameters.
