How to avoid overfiring when laser cutting sheet metal?

1. Add cooling points at the corners

When cutting sharp corners of sheet metal, it is easier to overheat the location is often in the sharp corners, overheating will cut the sharp corners into rounded, then you can add a cooling point in the sharp corners, pause at the sharp corners, blowing a little air.

2. Use a high power laser

3. Nitrogen cutting

In the sheet metal cutting with oxygen as the auxiliary gas, can be switched to use nitrogen to cut. Nitrogen cutting when the material is completely dependent on the laser energy melting, nitrogen blowing out the cut seam and to avoid inappropriate chemical reactions. The temperature in the melting point area is relatively low, and with the cooling and protection effect of nitrogen, the reaction is smooth and even, and the cutting quality is high. The section is delicate and smooth, with low surface roughness and no oxidized layer.
