Using laser cut copper foil, copper foil is also one of the components commonly used in the electronics industry. Copper foil is a very thin copper product. Copper, like paper, is micron thick. Usually 5um-135um, the thinner and wider it is, the more difficult it is to produce. UV laser cutting machines are widely used in copper foil cutting applications. The difficulty in cutting copper foil is that the cut edges are not charred, there are no burrs, the copper foil is not deformed and a roll-to-roll processing method is achieved. Ordinary laser cutting machines have a high thermal impact, are used in different directions and are less accurate than UV laser cutting machines. When the edges are charred, the thermal effect of the edges is that the copper foil warps and deforms.

The advantage of laser cutting of copper foil is that the laser is a cold source, which has a small thermal effect on the processed material, a small processing gap, smooth processing edges and no burrs, making it particularly suitable for cutting ultra-thin metal materials such as copper foil and ultra-thin metal alloys. In addition, it is also widely used in the field of conductive metal films. The UV laser cutting machine uses mirror scanning, vacuum adsorption at the bottom and a cold source to reduce the influence of heat sources to achieve perfect cutting of copper foil, which is also suitable for cutting ultra-fine metals.
