This situation may be caused by the following three issues: it is recommended to directly contact professional after-sales personnel for professional testing of the nozzle to prevent subsequent operational errors from causing greater losses. The following testing methods are for reference only.

Is the laser head nozzle damaged? The inspection table is as follows:

Is the nozzle deformed

Is there any molten stains on the nozzle

Incorrect selection of nozzle aperture

If the nozzle detection is normal, coaxiality detection is required.

Coaxiality detection mainly focuses on whether the nozzle and laser beam are coaxial, to ensure that the nozzle and laser beam are in the same straight line, and from a cross-sectional view, they are concentric circles. The following is the coaxiality testing method:

Tool preparation:

Size 1.2mm nozzle

Adjust the coaxiality of the transparent tape paper 1 and focus 0 so that the laser is at the center of the nozzle;

2. Focus ± 6mm illuminated;

3. If the focal point 0 and ± 6mm are at the center of the nozzle, it is normal; Otherwise, replace the cutting head or laser path offset.

If there is no problem with coaxiality detection, the internal lens of the laser head needs to be tested.

Firstly, it is possible to detect whether the lenses inside the laser head are dirty. The following are the detection steps:

Red light detection;

Check for red light on white paper away from the cutting head nozzle;

If there are obvious or irregular black spots in the red light, the lens will be very dirty and needs to be cleaned before cutting and debugging.

Secondly, it is necessary to check whether the distribution of light spots is uniform. The circularity of the light spot indicates the uniformity of the energy distribution of the light spot in different directions. The energy distribution of high circularity light spots is consistent in all directions, and the energy of the light spot is the highest. If adhesive tape is used to stick to the nozzle and no traces of the laser are visible, it may be due to uneven distribution of the light spot, resulting in insufficient energy of the light spot, or if the laser spot power is adjusted too low to leave traces on the tape. It is generally recommended to have a shooting rate of 10%.

The steps to detect whether the distribution of light spots is uniform are as follows:

Tool preparation:

Single layer nozzle size above 2.0mm

Black spot paper, black spot paper away from the cutting head nozzle, illuminated:

If there are obvious black spots in the light spot, the lens will be very dirty;

If the light spot is not round and the center is offset, the laser spot distribution is poor.

If the above tests are normal, it is possible that the optical fiber is damaged, and it is necessary to contact the manufacturer of the laser cutting mechanism for repair and apply for after-sales treatment.
