Have you ever thought about getting a firearm that really belongs to you, engraving your favorite pattern on the gun body or parts?
Lesoltac, Lesol Tactical, based in Hamburg, Germany, uses special laser engraving technology to make your wishes a reality. Lesoltac has long been committed to general-purpose laser processing technology to personalize firearms, parts, and accessories, and they say they can use lasers to engrave almost any surface, from steel to plastic and glass. all4shooters came to this company to learn more about their technology.
Alexander Gaus, owner of Lesoltac, told reporters that they have been working on customizing sporting rifles, shotguns and shooting equipment with laser engraving technology. Alexander pulls out a magazine with a still of Vincent (John Travolta) from the movie Pulp Fiction, with a very delicate pattern. Alexander said that they used a laser developed in the United States for high-quality engraving, and modified the precise parameters according to different materials, so as to attract potential customers with high-quality products. The engraving process lasts anywhere from 30 seconds to 15 minutes, depending on the complexity of the image and the type of material. The finer the image, the more time it takes to engrave.
Laser technology can engrave personalized patterns on almost any material surface, and not only visually, but also touch it, and the pattern can be made concave or convex according to requirements. Laser-engraved patterns are resistant to aggressive substances (including gasoline and motor oil) and temperature, and special equipment allows them to be engraved on cylindrical or conical surfaces. Lesoltac's equipment isn't yet capable of producing colored patterns, but combining laser engraving with other methods, such as Cerakote coating, yields quite interesting results. Pictured is Jules (Samuel L. Jackson) from the movie Pulp Fiction on the magazine.
Lesoltac can not only engrave on firearms, in fact, personalized engraving of firearms is only a small part of the field of laser engraving. Laser engravers are ideal for engraving souvenirs, engraving logos, patterns and text on a variety of products and gifts. Such a product has a unique and attractive appearance, and the durability of the engraving allows such a pattern or text to remain on the surface of the item. The slide of this Colt 1911A1 pistol is engraved with the poster of the horror movie "Clean Up".
Laser engraving can engrave various user-desired patterns on glass, ceramics, stone, rubber, metal, plastic and other materials. Due to the special processing method, it is possible to engrave perfect patterns on small parts. This is the "Joker" engraved on the tail cap of the Glock pistol, very beautiful and unique.
Alexander said that Lesoltac allows users to obtain the perfect engraving product, and its expressiveness requires the engraver's eyes and aesthetics to complete. The laser engraving technology is so special that it can even engrave parts that are prone to wear, such as the surface of a magazine, which is really fascinating.
