The reason for the errors generated by fiber laser cutting machines is that there are many problems during the use of fiber laser cutting machines, including errors during the laser cutting process, poor laser cutting effect, and so on. How did these errors occur? Let's take a look together:
1. The geometric error of the workpiece is influenced by various reasons. The surface of the processed object fluctuates, generating heat during the cutting process, making the surface of thin sheet parts prone to deformation. Due to surface roughness, the laser focus randomly changes with the position and ideal position of the processed object surface.
2. The cutting thickness of the material exceeds the cutting material standard. Taking 3000 watts as an example, the cutting plate thickness of a laser cutting machine is less than 20mm. The thinner the plate, the easier it is to cut, and the better the quality. If the steel plate is too thick, laser cutting machines are more difficult to cut. Under the conditions of ensuring cutting, there may be errors in machining accuracy, so it is necessary to determine the thickness of the sheet metal.
3. Programming error in fiber laser cutting machine processing, the machining trajectory on complex surfaces is fitted with lines, arcs, etc. There is an error between the fitted curve and the actual curve. These errors result in errors between the relative position of the actual focus and the surface of the processed object and the ideal programming position. Some teaching programming systems may also bring some errors.
4. During the cutting process of the fiber laser cutting machine, the focus position error occurred during the laser cutting process of sample 02. Many factors change the relative position between the focal point and the surface of the processed object, which is also related to the surface smoothness of the processed product. The clamping method of the workpiece, the geometric error of the machine tool, and the long-term load of the machine tool can all cause deformation. The thermal deformation of the workpiece during the processing will result in a deviation between the laser focusing position and the ideal given position (programming position). For these random errors, this is inevitable. Only through online detection and control can errors be reduced, thereby improving the working accuracy of fiber laser cutting machines.
