1. Is the mode entered by the laser the one you currently need? The entry method can refer to the user manual or relevant operating procedures.
2. Whether the laser has completed self check and entered the working mode, please check the online interface: if there is an error in the switch signal, power off and turn off the switch signal, please pop up the laser enable button LASER on the front panel of the laser and restart the laser key; If there is an "interlock error, power off and connect the interlock interface", please connect the interlock interface of the laser board and restart the laser key.
3. Provide correct internal settings and external control signals according to the instructions
3.1 Internal continuous mode requires correct power setting and pressing the LASER button on the front panel, with a power setting of 0-100. Some models may have different minimum output power requirements depending on the debugging process. Generally, there may be no laser output or a small amount of output below 8, and output below 10 may not have protection function. Please use with caution.
3.2 Internal modulation mode requires correct frequency, duty cycle, power setting, and pressing the LASER button on the front panel. Some models may have different minimum output power requirements depending on the debugging process. Generally, there may be no laser output or a small amount of output below 8, and output below 10 may not have protection function. Please use with caution.
3.3 The external continuous mode must meet the working conditions of the 'internal modulation mode', and the user also needs to provide an external modulation signal, that is, the laser modulation signal input port MOD (high level) on the rear panel.
3.4 The external modulation mode must meet the working conditions of the 'internal modulation mode', and the user also needs to provide an external modulation signal, that is, the laser modulation signal input port MOD (modulation signal) on the rear panel.
The 3.5 RS-232 mode requires setting the laser switch light and parameters through communication protocols. Users also need to provide external control signals, and the rear panel MOD receives external signals to control the laser.
3.6 AD mode requires users to control laser power through external analog voltage signals and provide external modulation signals, that is, the laser modulation signal input port MOD (modulation signal) on the rear panel. Note that before powering on the laser, the DB25 control interface 7 and 9 pins on the rear panel of the laser need to provide a 24V high level. At the same time, pins 6 and 9 must be at a low level, otherwise the laser cannot enter external AD mode, or a "switch optical signal error" is reported during the self test process, indicating that the self test cannot be completed.
4. When restarting the laser and emitting light again, please change the laser output power or analog signal, otherwise the laser may be in a safe design and not emit light.
