Because the temperature drops in winter, when using a laser engraving machine that cools the spindle with water, it is necessary to pay attention to the indoor temperature to prevent the water tank from freezing during the water circulation, causing water circulation to be interrupted. (1) The maintenance requirements for carving machines in winter are very high, mainly due to the issue of cooling water for the main spindle. The specific temperature requirements are:

① Ensure that the temperature in the workshop is not lower than 0 ℃ and ensure the working environment;

② When using the coolant, it should be ensured that it is above the minimum temperature to avoid freezing due to low temperature and poor circulation, which may lead to untimely cooling of the cutting head;

③ When the machine is not in use, if the room temperature is low, it is best to pour out the water from the water tank and drain the water from the spindle and water pipe to prevent frost cracking of the spindle and water pipe;

(2) Spindle issue.

The temperature in the northern hemisphere is basically below zero, so whether it is a woodworking carving machine or a stone carving machine, as long as a water cooling circulator is used, there are several issues to pay attention to in winter. Many customers often forget to add water, especially in autumn and winter. Due to the low external temperature, it is difficult to feel the heating of the spindle motor. ① Cooling water is necessary for the normal operation of the spindle motor. Dirty cooling water can cause serious damage to the motor, ensuring the cleanliness of the cooling water and the normal operation of the water pump.

② Pay attention to the water level and never cause water shortage in the water-cooled spindle motor, which may prevent the motor from discharging in a timely manner.

③ Pay attention to the environmental temperature and be careful not to freeze and crack the sink and water pipes due to low water temperature.

④ If conditions permit, the circulating water of the engraving machine spindle can be replaced with antifreeze for cooling.

In daily life, it is also important to take good care of customers and friends, and carefully check all work before work to ensure the normal operation of the engraving machine. For water-cooled spindle motors, pure water can be used for daily use; Or use it for cooling after boiling, which can reduce scale and avoid internal blockage of the spindle, resulting in poor circulation.

(3) The unique water cooling system of the stone carving machine not only optimizes the performance of stone carving, but also determines its own limitations. The temperature suitable for carving is usually between 0-45 degrees Celsius, below which the tap water used for cooling will freeze, which will inevitably affect the use of the carving machine. In addition, the relative humidity used in stone carving ranges from 30% to 75%, and environments that are too dry or too wet are not conducive to the optimal control of the carving machine and the power system. The relatively dry environment in winter is also not conducive to the normal use of carving machines.

Therefore, in winter, attention should be paid to keeping the carving machine warm. The remaining water in the water conduit on the same day should be cleaned in a timely manner to avoid affecting the water circulation after freezing the next day; The water pump should be promptly removed from the water tank or bucket to avoid freezing inside; In winter, machines cannot be placed outdoors. It is best to move the machines to the factory building.
