When using a laser cutting machine, it is necessary to pay attention to some small details and precautions. Mastering the use skills can make the equipment more efficient. Let's introduce Redsail Laser in detail:
What are the precautions and use techniques for laser cutting machines
1、 Corner melting; When cutting corners of a thin plate at a reduced speed, the laser will melt the corners due to overheating. Generate small radii at corners to maintain high-speed laser cutting, avoid overheating and melting of steel plates during corner cutting, thereby achieving good cutting quality, reducing cutting time, and improving manufacturing power.
2、 Part spacing; Generally, when cutting thick plates and hot plates, the spacing between parts should be large. Due to the large heat impact of thick plate hot plates, when cutting corner corners and small graphics, it is easy to burn edges, affecting the cutting quality.
3、 Lead wire settings; During the process of cutting thick plates, in order to ensure a good connection between the cutting seams and prevent burns at the beginning and end points, it is often necessary to introduce a transition line at the beginning and end of the cutting, respectively referred to as a lead and tail line. The lead and tail line are not useful for the workpiece itself, so they should be placed outside the scope of the workpiece. At the same time, it is important to note that the lead should not be placed at sharp corners or other places that are not easy to dissipate heat. The connection between the lead wire and the slit should adopt circular arc transition as much as possible to ensure smooth mechanical movement and avoid burns caused by corner pauses.
4、 Common edge cutting; "Combining two or more types of parts into a common edge, and maximizing common edges for large batches of regular graphics, common edge cutting can greatly shorten cutting time and save raw materials.".
5、 Parts collision; In order to increase production efficiency, some laser cutting machines operate 24 hours a day, and use unmanned automatic loading and unloading devices. They collide with the finished tipping parts, causing damage to the cutting head and manufacturing interruption, resulting in significant losses. Note the following three points when sorting:
Select a suitable cutting path to avoid finished parts and reduce collisions.
2. Reasonably plan cutting routes to reduce cutting time.
Automatically or manually combine multiple small parts with micro connections. After cutting, the removed parts can easily disconnect the micro connections.
In order to achieve a better operating state of the laser cutting machine, regular maintenance is also necessary. The maintenance of the laser cutting machine should pay attention to the following points:
1) Check the straightness of the track and the perpendicularity of the machine every six months, and timely maintain and debug any abnormalities found. Avoid affecting the cutting effect and increasing errors that can lead to a decrease in cutting quality.
2) Always check the steel belt and make sure it is tight. Avoid problems and accidental injuries during operation.
3) Use a vacuum cleaner once a week to remove dust and dirt from the machine. All electrical cabinets should be tightly closed to prevent dust.
4) Each guide rail should be regularly cleaned to remove dust and other debris to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. The rack should be regularly wiped and lubricated to ensure lubrication without debris. The guide rail and motor should be regularly cleaned and lubricated, so that the machine can move better and cut more accurately during travel, and the quality of the cut product will be improved.
5) The dual focal length laser cutting head is a vulnerable item on a laser cutting machine, and long-term use can easily lead to damage to the laser cutting head.
