The cleaning of the guide rail (it is recommended to clean the guide rail for half a month at a time and the operation should be carried out after the machine is shut down) is the core component. The guide rail and linear axis play a role in guiding and supporting. To ensure higher processing accuracy of the machine, the guide rail and linear axis must have excellent accuracy and dynamic stability. During the operation of the equipment, a large amount of corrosive dust and smoke can be processed when the parts are manufactured, and will accumulate on the surface of the guide rail and the linear axis in the long run, which will significantly affect the processing accuracy of the equipment, form corrosion points on the surface of the guide rail and the linear axis, and shorten the working life of the equipment. In order to ensure the normal operation and stability of the machine and the processing quality of the product, it is very important to maintain the guide rail and linear axis every day.
Note: dry cotton cloth and lubricating oil --- used for cleaning guide rail.
Preparation: The guide rail of the laser cutting machine can be divided into linear guide rail and roller guide rail. The linear guide rail is used in the X direction, but the roller guide rail is used in the Y direction of the YM series.
Clean the linear guide rail: move the laser head to the extreme right (or left) and find the linear guide rail in the figure above; Wipe with a dry cotton cloth until it becomes polished, and then add some lubricating oil. Push the light head to the right and left several times to fully and evenly distribute the lubricating oil.
Clean the guide rail: move the inside of the beam and both sides of the open end cover to find the guide rail; Use a dry cotton cloth to wipe the contact roll parts on both sides of the upper guide rail and the moving beam to clean the remaining places.
