Metal laser cutting machine has two basic optical elements: convex lens and radial mirror. Due to the pollution of materials received during the long-term cutting process, the light transmission effect of lens and radiation mirror is getting worse and worse, resulting in the cutting effect getting worse and worse. Here are two tips for cleaning lens and radiation mirror.

Tip 1: Clean the lens of metal laser cutting machine. First, bend the lens wiping paper into several folds, wet it with a small amount of analytical pure acetone, and then gently wipe the lens surface with the soaked lens paper. Please note that you cannot press the lens with your fingers. Please wipe the lens surface several times until it is clean and free of dirt and residual traces. Dry it again, roll the lens paper wetted with a few drops of acetone into a rod, and gently scrub the lens surface to remove heavy dirt drops. When using acetone, please prevent it from absorbing excessive water from the air and causing deterioration and pollution, so it should be sealed and stored. The used acetone solution should not be mixed with that in the original bottle. The principle of how much to use should be followed, and the unused acetone should be poured directly.

Tip 2: Clean the mirror lens of metal laser cutting machine. First, take off the lens, pad the mirror with paper to make it face up, drop a few drops of acetone on the paper, and then gently pull the paper over the mirror. Repeat the above actions several times until the mirror surface is clean and free of dirt, and then install the lens into the mirror base.
