Generally speaking, the laser cutting machine is harmless to the operator's body. It is impossible to say that it is absolutely harmless. Any work has occupational risks. The main harm of laser is that it may harm the eyes. However, laser cutting is much more environmentally friendly than plasma cutting and flame cutting.

Plasma cutting machine has a lot of dust, smoke and strong light, which requires a supporting dust removal device.

The laser cutting machine produces less dust, light is not very strong, noise is also very small, more environmentally friendly.

Of course, the operator who usually contacts the laser cutting machine likes to stare at the cutting head. If you look at the sparks produced by long cutting, you will hurt your eyes and have a tingling feeling. In general, some manufacturers of laser cutting machines will be equipped with corresponding glasses to protect the eyes. The laser cutting machine is very intelligent and can be operated by nobody without staring at the cutting head.

However, the Owner shall be reminded:

(1) The laser is invisible, and the laser beam cannot be seen with the naked eye. If you open the hood during a repair, you must pay attention to it. Don't accidentally touch the light path. It's not fun to meet it.

(2) The harmful element (ZnSe) in the focusing lens of the laser cutting machine shall not contact with the lens frequently. The scrapped lens shall be specially treated and shall not be thrown about.

(3) I don't know what materials the building owner is processing. If it is carbon steel or stainless steel, this is not a big problem. If a large amount of aluminum alloy is processed, the cut dust will be suspended in the air, which will be harmful to human health after inhalation. There are also aluminum plates. When the reflection is strong, the cutting head should be a protective device, otherwise it is easy to fail.

In a word, the quality of laser cutting machine operators is higher than that of flame cutting machine and plasma cutting machine operators, but it will be easy as long as you learn.

Precautions for routine operation of laser cutting machine

1. The operator must strictly observe the safety operation rules of the laser cutting machine.

2. The operator must consult all the instructions attached with the machine or have received the training of our customer service personnel, be familiar with the structure and performance of the equipment, and master the knowledge about the operating system.

3. Wear labor protection articles as required, and wear protective glasses that meet the requirements near the laser beam.

4. Before knowing whether a material can be irradiated or heated by laser, do not process it to avoid the potential danger of smoke and vapor.

5. When the equipment is started, the operator shall not leave the post or entrust others to be in charge without authorization.

6. Keep the fire extinguisher within easy reach; Turn off the laser or shutter when not processing; Do not place paper, cloth or other flammable materials near the unprotected laser beam.

7. In case of any abnormality during processing, stop the machine immediately, eliminate the fault or report to the supervisor.

8. Keep the laser, bed and surrounding area clean, orderly and free of oil stain, and stack workpieces, plates and waste materials as required.

9. When using gas cylinders, avoid crushing wires, water pipes and gas pipes to avoid electric leakage, water leakage and gas leakage. The use and transportation of gas cylinders shall comply with the gas cylinder supervision regulations. Gas cylinders shall not be exposed to the sun or close to heat sources. When opening the bottle valve, the operator must stand at the side of the bottle mouth.

10. Before turning on the power supply of the water cooler, check the water level of the water cooler. It is strictly forbidden to turn on the water cooler when there is no water or the water level is too low, so as to avoid damage to the water cooling equipment. The water inlet and outlet pipes of the chiller shall not be squeezed or stepped on to keep the waterway unblocked.

11. The laser produced by this product has a wavelength of 1064nm, which will cause burns when it is irradiated on human skin, and will cause serious damage to the retina of the eye (such as cataracts) when staring at the laser beam for a long time. The operator must wear 1064nm protective eyes.

12. The equipment will produce a lot of smoke and dust when cutting some plates. The air outlet pipe of the fan should be led to the outside, or an air purification device should be added. In addition, operators shall wear dust masks to prevent occupational diseases.

13. When the air temperature is below 0 ℃ and the machine is shut down for a long time, the cooling water in the chiller, laser and water pipeline shall be drained to avoid freezing of the cooling water in case of low air temperature and damage to the equipment and pipeline.

14. Check the protective lens in the laser cutting head once a day. When the collimator or focusing lens needs to be disassembled, record the disassembly process, especially the installation direction of the lens, and do not install it incorrectly.
