What is the reason why the optical fiber laser cutting machine does not work when it is turned on?

Generally, the following points will cause the optical fiber laser cutting machine to not work when it is started:

1: Touch the emergency stop button by mistake

2: The driver has no power or the input voltage is lower than 22V

3: Check the limit switch when the two axes of the machine can only move in one direction

4: Control card has no control signal output

5: Loose coupling or gear

6: The pulse and take-off speed do not match, and the sound of the motor with fixed gear will be generated

There are generally three situations where the optical fiber laser cutter cannot emit light:

1、 Suddenly there is no light,

2、 The laser light gradually weakens during use,

3、 There is no light when the machine is turned on every other day without warning.

Configuration of optical fiber laser cutting machine

The specific reasons why the laser cutting machine is turned on but does not emit light are as follows:

  

1、 About the cause of no light

Check the water circulating flow of the laser cutting machine to see whether the pipe at the nozzle is free of water. If the water from the outlet pipe is normal, ask the customer how long it has taken since the startup. If the customer says it has taken a whole morning or more than two hours, check whether there is water on the outermost layer of the laser tube. If there is water, the laser tube is damaged due to high water temperature.

If there is no water on the outer layer of the laser tube, then check the laser power supply. There is a red button on the laser power supply. Press it to see if there is light. If there is light, it indicates that the water protection device may be faulty. At this time, check whether the water protection outlet is blocked, and then clean the water protection. It is better to flush it with water. At this time, pay attention to the water inlet and outlet of the water protection, which must not be reversed, or the laser tube will be damaged.

The second way is to short circuit the PG on the laser power supply (connect it with a wire), but at this time, pay attention to check the water circulation. The water protection does not work to avoid the damage of the laser tube. If the light still does not come out, it means that the laser power supply is broken. Ask the manufacturer to replace it.

2、 The reason why the light used for laser tube is getting weaker and weaker

First of all, the circulation of the water cooler. If the circulation is abnormal, shut down the power supply and check whether the plug of the water pump or the water cooler is plugged.  

Secondly, check whether the ammeter of the laser cutting machine is normal. If it is normal, it may be a problem with the laser tube. Find the manufacturer to replace or repair it. If the ammeter is abnormal, it is a problem with the laser power supply. Find the manufacturer to replace or repair it.  

3、 Everything was normal when I started to use it, but there was no light when I turned it on after another day

First, check the water circulation of the laser cutting machine to see if it can discharge water normally.  

Secondly, check the ammeter of the laser cutting machine. Press the "light out" button to see if the pointer of the ammeter can be turned up. If it is below 5mA, it means that the power supply is broken, and ask the manufacturer to replace or repair it.  

Finally, if the ammeter does not move, check whether our laser switch is turned on. If it is turned on, check whether the laser power indicator is on. If it is on, press the button on the laser power supply to check the current finger. If the pointer moves and is less than 5 mA, the laser power supply is broken, or emphasize the maximum light intensity and minimum light intensity in the software to 50%, and then press to check whether the ammeter pointer is 10-12 mA, If not, it is the laser power supply or the motherboard.  

Therefore, in summary, the following six reasons should be checked:

1: Chiller alarm/chiller not turned on.

2: The signal line of the chiller is not connected

3: The protective cover on the machine is not closed

4: No input voltage for laser power supply (220/110)

5: Laser tube damaged

6: No signal output from control card
