1. Cutting rusty plates will reduce the processing efficiency, reduce the cutting quality, and increase the product scrap rate accordingly. Therefore, if conditions permit, use less rusty plates or treat them before using them during sheet metal processing.
2. In the process of plate cutting, especially when punching and cutting, holes may burst, which will pollute the protective lenses. This requires us to deal with the rusty plates first. If we use a grinder to remove rust, of course, the impact of plates below 5MM is not significant, mainly rusty thick plates, but the cutting quality will still have an impact, which is not comparable to the quality of cutting qualified plates.
3. The overall uniform cutting is better than the uneven rusty plate, and the overall uniform rusty plate absorbs laser relatively evenly, so it can be better cut. For uneven rusty sheet metal, it is recommended to treat the surface, even the sheet metal surface, and then conduct laser cutting of sheet metal.
