It is well known that the power of the fiber laser will affect the cutting speed of the laser cutting machine, and the cutting speed will directly affect the cutting quality of the plate. At the same time, when the power of the fiber laser is stable, the cutting quality will be affected if the cutting speed is too slow or too fast.
(1) The influence caused by the slow cutting speed of the laser cutting machine is:
1. Too slow cutting speed causes long contact time between the plate and the laser, which may lead to over melting of the plate and rough cutting surface;
2. If the cutting speed is too slow, the cutting seam will become wider, and it is easy to burn at small rounded corners or sharp corners, which can not achieve the ideal cutting quality;
3. If the cutting speed is too slow, the cutting efficiency will be low, which will affect the normal production and processing capacity and fail to meet the requirements of reducing production costs.
(2) The influence caused by too fast cutting speed of laser cutting machine is:
1. If the cutting speed is too fast, the contact time between the laser beam and the plate will be short, so that sparks will splash all over the plate, causing continuous cutting in some areas;
2. The cutting speed is too fast, causing the whole plate cutting section to be layered;
3. If the cutting speed is too fast, it is easy to cause that the plate cannot be cut in time, the cutting section presents oblique lines, and the lower part is easy to produce molten stains.
Therefore, when operating the machine, the operation engineer needs to adjust the parameters and maintain a reasonable cutting speed to cut plates.
