1、 The product itself has geometric deviation.
For example, if the processed product itself is uneven or the surface contains small particle residues, the cutting process defaults to setting the plane plate cutting data. If the product surface is uneven, different areas may be heated unevenly when cutting, the thin plate surface will overheat and melt, and the thick plate surface may not be able to melt through. Due to the unevenness of the surface, the laser focus changes randomly with the position and ideal position of the object surface to be processed.
2、 Programming deviation
In the process of optical fiber laser cutting machine, the processing path on the complex curved surface is fitted with straight lines, arcs, etc. There is a deviation between the fitted curve and the actual curve. These deviations result in deviations between the relative positions of the actual focus and the surface of the processing object and the ideal programmed positions.
3、 The actual thickness of the material exceeds the cutting range
For example, 1500W power equipment can only cut 12mm thick carbon steel plates. Now it is forced to cut 14mm thick carbon steel plates. Even if it can cut through, there will be deviation or slag hanging at the bottom. Therefore, before cutting, it is necessary to determine the plate thickness and the actual cutting thickness of the equipment. The quality accuracy beyond the cutting range cannot be guaranteed.
4、 Focus deviation
During the cutting process of optical fiber laser cutting machine, the deviation of focus position will also lead to deviation during cutting. Many factors will change the relative position of the focus and the product surface, which will also affect the precision of the processed product. For example, the clamping mode of the fixture, the levelness of the machine tool itself, the wear degree of the rack on the machine bed, etc. The deviation can be reduced by checking before cutting.
The processing accuracy of the laser cutting machine is the main standard parameter used to measure the quality of the machine tool in the industry at present. In the equipment sales link, the salesperson will have a specific description of the processing performance of the product. The processing accuracy of the laser cutting machine tool is mostly within the deviation range of 0.5MM.
Of course, a few manufacturers provide high-precision laser cutting machine tools with a machining accuracy of 0.3MM, but generally speaking, the cutting accuracy still has a certain deviation range, which is what we call the machining dimension tolerance.
Then the surface smoothness of the processed workpiece, the clamping method of the workpiece, the geometric deviation of the machine tool, the deformation of the machine tool under long-time load, and the thermal deformation of the workpiece during the processing will all cause the deviation of the laser focus position and the ideal positioning position.
