How to clean the protective mirror of the laser cutting machine? The optical lens in the laser system is a consumable. In order to prolong the service life and reduce the use cost as much as possible, the lens must be cleaned in strict accordance with this specification. During replacement, the placement, detection and installation of optical lens must be protected to avoid damage and pollution. After installing a new lens, it should be cleaned regularly. Of course, you should pay more attention to cleaning lenses than cleaning glasses. When laser cutting materials, the working surface will release a lot of gas and splash, which will damage the lens. When pollutants fall on the surface of the lens, they will absorb energy from the laser beam, resulting in the thermal effect of the lens. If the lens does not generate thermal stress, the operator can disassemble and clean it. During lens installation and cleaning, any sticky substances or even oil drops on the nail will increase the absorption rate of the lens and shorten its service life. Take the daily laser lens operation of Chuyu Laser as an example, the following matters must be noted:
1. Do not install the lens with bare fingers. Finger gloves or rubber gloves should be worn.
2. Do not use sharp instruments to avoid scratching the lens surface.
3. When holding the lens, do not touch the film, but hold the edge of the lens.
4. The lens shall be placed in a dry and clean place for testing and cleaning. The surface of a good workbench should have several layers of cleaning paper towels and several pieces of cleaning tissue paper.
5. Users should avoid talking above the lens and keep food away from drinks and other potential pollutants in the working environment. When cleaning the lens, a relatively low risk method should be used.

To do this, the following steps are set
1. Use a hair dryer to blow off the floating objects on the surface of the original, especially the lens with tiny particles and flocs on the surface. This step is necessary. However, do not use compressed air on the production line, because the air will contain oil mist and water droplets, which will deepen the lens pollution.
2. Clean the lens gently with analytical acetone. This level of acetone is almost anhydrous, which reduces the possibility of lens contamination. The cotton ball dipped in acetone must be cleaned under light and rotated for one circle. Once the cotton swab is dirty, it must be replaced. Cleaning should be done at one time to avoid ripples. If the lens has two coated surfaces, such as the lens, each surface needs to be cleaned in this way. The first side needs to be placed on a clean mirror paper layer for protection.
3. If acetone cannot remove all dirt, please use acid vinegar for cleaning. Vinegar can dissolve and remove dust without damaging optical lenses. This vinegar can be experimental grade (diluted to 50%) or white vinegar with 6% acetic acid added to household vinegar. The cleaning procedure is the same as that of acetone, then use acetone to remove the vinegar and wipe the lens dry. At this time, the cotton ball must be replaced frequently to completely absorb acid and hydrate. Until cleaned.
4. When the contamination and lens damage cannot be removed by cleaning, especially the burnt film due to metal splash and dirt, the only way to restore good performance is to replace the lens. Note: In the installation process, if the method is incorrect, the lens will be polluted, so the above operating steps must also be followed. After the lens is cleaned and operated correctly, its service life and performance will undoubtedly be significantly improved, which is also one of the important ways for the service life and stability of the laser cutting machine. Taking some preventive and maintenance measures will ensure that the laser machine works longer and has higher stability.
