Q: Why are there always burrs on the cutting surface when cutting carbon steel?

Therefore, when there are burrs on the cutting surface of sheet metal parts, the first thing to consider is the location of laser focus. Because this will lead to the inability to effectively implement the processing of sheet metal parts. Therefore, the solution is to adjust the focusing direction of the laser head.
However, if the focusing of the laser head is OK, consider the laser power. Due to different laser cutting capabilities, if the thickness of processed carbon steel exceeds the limit value of laser cutting, the cutting quality will decline.
The third thing to check is the auxiliary gas. Generally speaking, the cutting performance of the laser cutting machine will be better only when the purity of the auxiliary gas is higher. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the quality of auxiliary gas.
Q: Why is the metal plate not cut through sometimes?
Answer: When the metal material is not cut through, the main reason may be that the nozzle of the laser head does not match the thickness of the working material. The cutting speed of the laser cutting machine may also be too fast. Therefore, the operator needs to replace the nozzle with the proper size and reduce the cutting speed of the machine.
