When using traditional cutting technology to cut metal materials, due to its backward processing method. It is often easy to cause low utilization rate of processing materials, loss of processing materials, low cutting accuracy and high power consumption in the cutting process. Therefore, the laser cutting machine has replaced the traditional cutting equipment as the preferred machine for cutting metal materials. Let's talk about the processing quality evaluation criteria when laser cutting machine is cutting metal materials:
Criterion 1: After the laser cutting machine is used to cut the workpiece, observe whether the cutting surface of the cutting workpiece is smooth and flat, free of burrs and the formation of concave and convex surfaces. If there is no such phenomenon, the processing quality is relatively high. On the contrary, the processing quality is relatively low.
Criterion 2: After the cutting is completed, observe whether the cutting surface of the workpiece has progressive lines layer by layer. If this situation occurs, it means that the laser beam is not concentrated and uniform when the laser is emitted to irradiate the workpiece surface, resulting in the above phenomenon on the cutting surface of the workpiece, which means that the processing quality is relatively low. If there is no such phenomenon, the processing quality is relatively high.
Criterion 3. When the laser cutting machine is used to cut the workpiece, because the main form of cutting is to use laser to gather heat, so that the metal surface will melt to cut. If the laser power is not well controlled, so that the heat gathered in the laser beam is high, the internal molecules of the metal material will change, which is easy to form brittle fracture. This phenomenon indicates that the processing quality is low. If it does not occur, it indicates that the processing quality is high.
Evaluation standard 4. After the laser cutting machine is used to cut the workpiece, the width of the cutting gap should be observed to see if it is within the preset error range. If the width gap after cutting is narrow or wide, it means that the processing quality is low. If the slit width is within the error range, it indicates that the processing quality is relatively high.
