The damaged laser cutting machine can be directly and clearly displayed, but it is difficult to judge whether the laser cutting head is within the normal calibration range, so what can we find?
1. Stability
As the most precise part of the fiber laser cutting machine, the fiber laser has stable performance, and the service life of key components can reach 100000 hours. Therefore, the output is very stable, and there is no deviation in the working process. When the laser is unstable for a certain period of time, and the output problem is very small, it is likely to judge that it is not within the calibration level, and then it can be repaired.
2. Verticality
For the optical fiber laser cutting machine, the cutting head will complete the cutting task according to the program instructions when writing the program, so there will be no deviation in the perpendicularity. The perpendicularity of the cutting edge is very important. The cutting edge deviates from the position specified by the program command, so the cutting prototype cannot meet the actual demand.
How to judge whether the laser cutting machine is calibrated normally?
3. Gap width
The laser cutting machine focuses on a small point, so the focus can reach high power density. The material is rapidly heated to the extent of vaporization and evaporates to form pores. When the beam and the material move linearly, the hole continuously forms a very narrow slit. The above requirements can be met under normal conditions, but when the laser head fails to calibrate, it is unable to cut a satisfactory narrow slit, and the whole line is not on the horizontal line.
4. Coaxiality judgment
During the calibration of the optical fiber laser cutting machine, if the center of the air flow and the center of the beam are not on the same axis, the sparks will sputter unevenly in all directions when cutting carbon steel plates. Perform the carbon steel plate drilling test again to observe whether the spark sputtering is uniform. If not, adjust it. After several repetitions, the coaxiality of the air flow center and the beam center will be adjusted to the ideal state.
5. Roughness.
The laser cut section will form a vertical line. The depth of the line determines the roughness of the cutting surface. The shallower the line, the smoother the cut plane.
6. Materials
When cutting thick plates at high speed, molten metal will not appear in the notch below the vertical laser beam, but will be ejected at the rear of the laser beam. As a result, a curve is formed on the cutting edge, and the curve closely follows the moving laser beam. To correct this problem, reducing the feed speed at the end of the cutting process can greatly eliminate the formation of lines.
In addition to the above, there are many phenomena that can determine whether the optical fiber laser cutting machine has been calibrated, such as perpendicularity. No matter what problem is determined, it should be reported for maintenance in time to avoid unnecessary loss.
